Vinho Verde Loureiro Blend

Most Vinho Verde is much of a sameness to me: crisp, light, simple, and *cheap*. This one stood out to us as especially good without being especially expensive and was a hit at our party.

Difficult to beat this on a warm day. Fizzy, tart, and quaffable. Lime, white peach fuzz, and melon are balanced well by plenty of acid and just the right amount of residual.

Would work well with Breakfast

Crisp Vinho Verde, with medium acidity

Apples, melon, zesty bubbles. Tasty on a hot day; definitely a porch pounder.

Light straw-hued, near translucent. Aromas and flavors of apple, lemon zest, lime, minerals, pear, salt, and stone. Medium-light body and high acidity. Lightly carbonated. A complex nose; a crisp palate; an elegant finish. A blend of Loureiro (50%), Trajadura (40%), and Pedernã (10%).

Great light, easy to drink summer wine. Low alcohol, refreshing and effervescent. Grapefruit and lime flavors (almost tastes like Corona beer). Starfruit taste at finish.

Good for cheap juice.
