Picnic with soraya and Danny and kalen and Hugo, kalen told the birth story and we had lots of conservas and some very nice cheese and Clark street bread. Very nice, went great with conserva. Need more! This was a wing hop fung bargain table score. — 10 months ago
Juicy cherry red wine for springtime. Color of the wine was bright. Gotta get more for spring. — 2 years ago
Goes really well with sesame chicken and noodles. Would probably go well with many chicken dishes. Light, not tannic/acidic. — 3 years ago

2020, very good — 2 years ago
Really a lovely langhe nebbiolo from a producer we respect deeply after walking the Bricco Boschis with him a couple years ago. Decanted for 3 hours which I definitely recommend at this time. A bit unresolved still in terms of tannins. But deeply aromatic with great dark fruit and acid. Probably a better pairing with a cut of meat vs pizza. Delicious. — 3 years ago

Archetypal barolo and worth the price. Earth and cherries. Leather. Linear and focused, with fine grained tannins and racy acidity. — 6 months ago
Better than it was just a few months ago, which was right after bottling. Crushed raspberry and steel. Good acidity, low tannin but still substantial. Perfect burger wine! Chicken cordon bleu too! — 2 years ago

Got this wine as a Christmas gift. It’s really lovely and unique. Nose = slate, chalk, terra cotta and ocean air. Body = medium. Some good acidity but not overbearing. Main flavors = cranberry and under ripened pineapple. Some sweetness mid palate with a pleasant dry finish. — 5 months ago
