This is a pretty damn good fruit forward Zin. Full of lush dark red berries. — 2 years ago
Second bottle of the evening and… wow. Such a beautiful wine to close out the night. Dark berries, licorice, spices… hold up to the richest desserts, yet it’s light enough to dance on the tongue. Looking forward to seeing how the other, slightly younger bottles develop. — 5 years ago
Dinner at Eddie merlots. Great. Fruit forward — 6 years ago
Fruit forward, short finish with light tannins. Easy to drink — 7 years ago
Made the mistake of drinking whiskey first. Tastes flat & dull in comparison. Earth, dark berries, cassis, & plum. Not overly bright or fruit forward. Leather, tannic, acidic finish. — 8 years ago
Very fruit forward, cherries, plums and earth tones.... very good! — 9 years ago
Very fruit forward with lots of berry favors and beautiful dark color. — 5 years ago
Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, sweet cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth and pencil lead.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black cherries, raisins, vanilla, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, coke, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Nice length on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon is always enjoyable. Drinking nicely now as a 3 years old.
Fruit forward with nice balance. Showing mild complexity with a nice mouthfeel.
Wine Enthusiasts 90 points.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows the tannins (45 minutes).
Nice enough to drink by itself, but pairs nicely with food too.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Very good. Fruit forward and silky. — 8 years ago
2013 - Luscious, fruit forward bouquet; great body; good legs, slightly tannic and medium finish; tasted one plus years ago and felt that time would help, which it did. — 8 years ago
So solid, year in year out - I know they make a ton of this, and yes it’s at Costco, but when you’re looking for a reliable Zin, this is it. Bordering on being too fruit forward - this barely checks the box for secondary aromas & flavors. Balanced harmonious with intermediate aging potential. Try to find their single vineyard offerings. — 2 years ago
Very good and consistent. Bold and round with a fruit forward start. — 4 years ago
A bit different than previous FN vintages. This one less fruit forward, a bit more acidic, and tannins really tight. This one is obviously very young, but still tighter than previous vintages. Black and blue fruit come through, with some wet stone, vanilla, and licorice. Needs more time in the cellar. — 5 years ago
Fruit forward and delicious! Flavor lingers sweetly. — 8 years ago
Fruit forward, very lite oak and tannins, med body, good balance — 8 years ago
Big forward, intense deep fruit, heavy body. Yet does not rely on body alone, develops on the palate. I would say it is still improving. Drank 2011 in July 2017. spectacular with the goat cheese and fig and thyme crackers as a wonderful appetizer course before even more impressive wines to come — 9 years ago
