Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep, dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Great nose of cherries, strawberries, vanilla, cloves, honey, cedar, forest floor, curves, green pepper, spices, licorice, black-currant and black pepper.

Full bodied and elegant with nice legs and high acidity.

Dry and tart on the palate with cherries, strawberries, plums, pomegranate, black currants, earth, oak, vanilla, licorice, black pepper and herbs.

Sour finish with huge, angular tannins.

Still very young and austere, but would be great in 3 to 5 years, yet I still enjoyed it with my filet mignon.

Needs an hour to open up, which I didn't have, unfortunately.

14.3% alcohol by volume.

Really easy to drink cab. Nice booze, medium tannins, fairly average and thins out pretty quickly.

Bright fruit on the nose, deep fruit on the palate, and plenty of oak. Nice with a rack of lamb and ratatouille. Happy Valentine's!

Nice cab. Very good, standard fare.

Pretty nice bottle actually. Really mineral and dust driven. Redcurrant, red plum, and blueberry with some gravelly minerality. Almost opens up with air like a graves/pessac.. medium bodied but fleshy and smooth. Another solid bottle from the knights valley.

Consistent cab. It is closer to Napa style than Sonoma to be honest. Black fruits, chocolate and earthy.

Black fruits vanilla not serious but pretty good..

Raspberry, rhubarb, clove, baking spices and black pepper with plenty of richness and velvety tannins

Wonderful flavor, not too dry, a little fruity

Good Cali Cab. The years on this have done their job and have dialed down the fruit and brought up the oak and earthy flavors on the wine. Surprisingly good.
