Tried a selection of wines from Forester on tasting, the Chardonnay was the standout, and probably a stand out Chardonnay in general for me. — 7 years ago
Pleasantly oily and very smooth for a 90. Nicely warm on the finish. — 9 years ago

An excellent wine for $15, maybe $35. Really balanced, a little under acid for me, a touch of sweetness. Went great with a blue cheese. Think of it as the wine equivalent of a Subaru Forester. It won't blow your pants off, but it gets you from A to B safely, great traction and good off road capabilities. Wait, am I still on Delectable? — 8 years ago
Hasn't been long in the bottle so understandably tight on the nose, interesting sherbet notes.
Great fresh acid persistence, citrus and tropical fruits and some grassy herbaceousness.
Will come into its own in a few months time. Very nice — 9 years ago
Lovely wine, peppery with a beautiful oak. Would go great with streak — 11 years ago
Very rich nose of rum, raisin, and dark chocolate. A good decant produces a silky tannin structure with a good front pallet tug. Some pepper, savoury herb and generous fruit with that reductive character that is hinted to on the nose. Quite decadent and warming. A great experience. The grapes are left on the vine until super ripe to help balance out the heavy tannin that is typical of the variety. 15% alcohol. — 9 years ago
