Juicy plum, blueberry pie, black cherry, blackberry, cassis, and violet. Notes of carbonic maceration or at least some whole cluster. Neutral oak. Elevated acidity, medium soft tannins, and moderate body. Medium(+) finish. Simple but delicious. — 7 years ago
Racey plum, dark fruit nose. Round mouth feels. Super balanced, easy drinking. Beautiful purple colour. Long finish. Nice acid, throws cranberry. — 7 years ago

Kiwi, vanilla, white flowers like jasmine, lemon oil and capsicum skin on the nose. Some acetone that blows off. Celery, aloe, preserved lemon, apple flesh, green peppercorn, in the mouth. Bayberry and grass on the finish. The texture is slightly waxy finish and lightly grabby and tannic on the roof of the mouth. The Long Island flavor here. Nothing gets it quite like floral terranes. No other Sauvignon Blanc is like this either. — 6 years ago

Perfect everyday white. Aromatic, fruity florals with notes of lychee, white peach, and apple blossom with a Meyer lemon candy twist. — 6 years ago
Double decant (lots of fine sediment). Taking the time machine back to 1990! Still a glorious dark red with some slight bricking on the edge. On the nose: red fruit, earthy, plum, and slight barn yard funk (which I luv). Taste: red fruit, plum, smokey, floral, currants, sweet still there tannins...low acidity and medium finish....took a chance buying a few bottles and drinking really well! Glad I did. — 6 years ago

Another gem from the California Lost and Found file. My friends at Meeker Vineyards recently stumbled upon 100 cases of this 2001 bottling of Mendocino Carignan in their cellars. When they offered me samples I happily accepted. Drinking very well- great purity, definition and balance. Bright red fruits, dried flowers, mint,
eucalyptus, tobacco- characteristics that I’ve noted in some of their older wines. Skillful cork removal and decanting required, tools not included. — 7 years ago
Delicious Pinot. Not your normal Cali Pinot - like I’ve had in France. Kenny does such a great job with his Pinots. I just love them. — 8 years ago

@delectable this is floral terraNes MX. blend of teroldego, lagrein and Syrah. It’s very delicious. Lots of blueberry. Very ripe blueberry. Some blackberry too. Fine tannins that coat the top of the mouth and tongue. Not super high acid but very ripe fruit flavor. There’s some roasted red pepper. Maybe a bit of celery salinity. Also some roasted brownness on the nose like coffee. Lavender and mint come out after air. I wish I had a bottle of this in five years. I imagine would become even meatier and smokier. Good stuff. One of my favorite wines from Long Island’s Floral Terranes. — 6 years ago
