Opens up as a classic Nebbiolo. Tar, licorice, leather and redcurrants on the nose. Tar and salty licorice on the palate. The tannins aren't too sharp if accompanied with meat, but could probably do with another 5 years. — 7 years ago

Not as fruit forward as our Sonoma county reds it has nice, soft tannins and maybe a little tobacco? — 7 years ago
Fresh blackberries, blueberries, dried oregano, dried thyme, graphite. Snapping rounded acidity/minimal smooth velvet tannin presence, juicy-silky texture, light-medium bodied, fruity-smoky finish. Highly aromatic, mineral driven, softer, more approachable interpretation of Dolcetto. Perfect weekday wine. — 7 years ago
