At first, this wine seemed slightly over the hill. Not sure if it was pairing with food, some aeration or the alcohol (in my head) that let this wine blossom in the glass. This wine sings after 30 minutes. Somewhat soft and round with lots of structure and backbone making a for a great balanced wine. — 7 years ago

Second time having this, but a different vintage. Full bodied. The colour is purple... electric. Very big. Needs some time to mellow out. — 6 years ago

I really enjoyed this!
Dark, thick wine where you can really taste the Syrah and tannins. Spicy and full of fruit. Paired very nice with prosciutto wrapped chicken. Definitely young with many years left in it! Not bad at the restaurant list price of £50. — 6 years ago
🍇Вино мягкое, пряное, аромантное🍒🍑🍇, интересное. Такое хоть каждый день🍷 — 7 years ago
Smell like a Dr Pepper but with none of the additives (obviously). Skrate cherry cola. Cranberry and cutting acidity. Supple and generous but light and pristine at the same time. Vg — 8 years ago
Rich and full. Dark fruit and earth. Very nice wine. — 9 years ago
A great example of why Brunellos are loved so much - great terroir and lingering aromas make this a beautiful wine to drink. Easily can be kept laying down for another 7-8 years. — 10 years ago
The Campo Al Mare pairs fantastic with Lamb and Sausage Cacciatore. When cooking Italian choose wisely. — 11 years ago

Emilia forever. Will always be a fan of these beautiful wines from an under appreciated region. It’s no Piedmont but it’s got heart and soul just as well — 6 years ago
