Best wine of my life thus far — 8 years ago
Very young. Bright, zesty and intense. A bit of sweetness. Great acid, body and balance. A long life ahead. — 9 years ago
Breakfast with the love of my life. And my wife was there too. — 9 years ago
Still a lot of life left despite the vintage. After decanting for an hour it is hard to find any flaw with it. — 10 years ago
Right there in window. Has life left. Savory, fruity, lovely. — 10 years ago
The first vintage release from Harlan estate. Now I can say I have been lucky to try every vintage of this wine. Long finish, with a lot less of a ripe attack than anticipated. Long life ahead of this wine made in a different era in napa. #timetraveling — 11 years ago
Bright wine with tons of life left. Notes of Black cherry, black tea, cigar box and anise. Delicious. — 11 years ago
Dark purple color with lots of fruit balanced by graphite and earthy notes. Plenty of life too. Impressive effort by Dunn — 12 years ago
The fight was a draw on points but on QPR the judges voted on the Palmer 🥇
At £340 it has less life but better & a bigger thrill drinking today 🥊 a bit more masculine than Ch Margaux

Needed some time to open up, but once it did, this old boy still had some life in it. — 9 years ago
First time buy and enjoyed it with the men in my life who liked the smoothness. It had undertones of brown sugar and honeyed figs, raisins with slight licorice. — 10 years ago

Old man look at my life, I'm a lot like you were..... Hottubbin' with Christian... Fab juice. 1989 was a good year... 13% cali bord blend... Say what?! — 11 years ago
It is not every day that you get to drink your birth year. Especially when it was 40 years ago. It is just amazing standing fully mature but with what seems like an endless life. 1975 for ever!! — 12 years ago
Be patient.... You have to wait at least 30 mins to bring it back to life... But we could still enjoy its preciouseness. — 12 years ago
Amazing wine. Still got life in it. — 7 years ago
This has so much life left in it. Tastes like dark berries that got covered in dust after a rainstorm. Hints of vanilla and spices. Really well integrated tannins. An awesome wine. — 8 years ago
Everyone knows I’m a fan of LRA but I’ve not had the 98 for a long time!
As I just found some @ £68 I had to try & it’s lovely for the money with lots of life left 👍
🍸 Perfect in Zalto Burgundy 😎

Can't say enough about a wine this serious at this price point. Absolutely stunning, elegant, and even (in a chinon way) powerful. Floral aromatic dominate - lavender and a bit of rose. Graphite, dusty chalk, red pepper, some raspberry. Fresh yet not primary. Hints of savory notes as well. Incredible spine of minerality runs through the palate. Great acidity and structure. Coiler and energetic. Finishes long and bright with refreshing pyrazines for days. In an incredible place now, so no fault in drinking but has a long, long life ahead. One of the best values in the wine world. Just exceptional — 9 years ago
Had it September 2013.
Big fruit still there, spices, cigars box. Perfect balance on the palate, good acidity and fabulous tannin. Just a touch too much of wood still there. I wouldn't have said it had 25 years of life. Not too complex. — 10 years ago
Perfect pairing. — 10 years ago
Big, bold and full of life. Red fruits and chewy tannin. Drink or hold for a few more it's got plenty of life. — 11 years ago
Still a lot of life! Nice fruit with smokey finish. Open that bottle night 2015 — 11 years ago

Top shoulder. Got the cork out in one piece. Absolutely perfect bottle with a lot left to give. Thick balsamic fruit, soft tannins, integrated oak, fresh acidity, everything in absolute balance. In a way almost perfect on the verge of lacking a bit of personality, but only almost. This has 10 years of life ahead of it but No reason to wait. — 6 years ago
