Love this Bordeaux blend. The smell is awesome - lightly sweet - and I love the dryness of the wine on the palate. Still a little bit of fruit though, which I like. Great for our Bastille Day cheese board (except for the salmon eggs - it highlighted their strong salt flavor) and would buy again for a French-themed meal. — 5 years ago

so fresh easy to drink but not so light — 6 years ago

Not as deep as Coutet but the flavors were solid. — 7 years ago
After few hours of opening, very ripe fruit. Dark cherry, fig, dry prune, dark tea, dry leaves. Mouth is round, rich with subtile dark fruits and a nice acidity. Then it becomes more powerful with structure and nice tannins. On the finish we are back in the sunny south. It feels like the sun on the rocks but the nice acidity balance it. Great wine but needs time to open. — 4 years ago
Such a different carignan. Nothing like the heavy tannic wines of old. Great acidity, dried fruits and fresh herbs. Stunning. — 5 years ago
Minerality with a refreshing, light citrus taste — 5 years ago
This is not Macabeu, as Delectable indicates. It’s 100% Serine. Much like the Segna de Cor cuvée, it’s fresh, tense and incredibly detailed for a red from such hot, hardscrabble terroir. Smashing purity; all the great Syrah feels you get from the world’s masters of the grape. Extraordinary and fine. — 5 years ago
Standard issue. Appel, pear, cream, white flower / round and med+ bodies with baked fruit, light spice / clean finish with some residual minerality — 7 years ago
Nice red ruby color, dried prune, black pepper, dried tomatoes, very smooth attack, then structured and a very fresh finish. Great balance. Top Mourvèdre ! — 5 years ago
I loved this wine! — 5 years ago
Zoom. 24 hrs open (chilled) and hitting gorgeous apricot notes, honeysuckle blossom, and a little canned peach nectar, a champagne-like aftermath - brioche! from where? - then acidic mouthwatering waterfall of a finish. perfect quarantine companion - so long as you have nothing much else to do! — 5 years ago
Lovely rich rounded flavor. Heavy grainy and berry. A heavier Rhône. Absolutely irrefutable right from the bottle. 2014. Schaefer wine sale bought in 2018. — 7 years ago

Black cherries, currants, green pepper, veg notes and leather. Good, but tight and closed; needs more time to age. — 8 years ago
