The perfect accompaniment to plum pudding. Very toffee and raisiny with intensity at 18.5% ABV. My son who rarely drinks anything loved it. Don’t worry. I’m sure I haven’t created a monster. He still went for his regular 10K run on Boxing Day. Rutherglen fortifieds are one of Australia’s gifts to the world of wine. — 9 months ago
Stunning. Everything tied together beautifully after a couple of years in bottle. Delicious stuff!! — 3 years ago
Outstanding!! Super tight and focussed. Struck match, flinty and nectarine kernel complexity. Drink now or hold for 3-5 years. Wish it came in magnums! Ripper booze!! — 4 years ago

Gorgeous color and aromas of black cherry and blackberries. Entry is rich and smooth with lingering aftertaste. Extremely enjoyable wine which unfortunately is no longer available from this vineyard plot. — 7 years ago
The 2022 Apsley Gorge Pinot Noir stands out as a smooth, Burgundy-style wine with exceptional balance. Among the best Pinot Noirs we’ve tasted in Tasmania, it offers impressive depth and elegance. — 9 months ago
Mellow citrus nose. Smooth and pleasant with a warm finish. Notes of lemon pith, green grape skin, and minerals. Tart with an oaky butteriness. Leaves the tongue and mouth with soft feel. — 3 years ago
Like a flavorful wine sundae—biting into a medley of strawberry, pear, and maraschino cherry with the perfect vanilla creamy on top. — 4 years ago
A very pleasant well balanced wine that displays subtle fruit and mild tannins.

Feeling nostalgic for our trip to Ridge drinking this. Wonderfully gushy with pure fruit just the slightest hint of potting soil and something beautiful in that realm, maybe petrichor. Silky tannins and just unreal integration of structure. A wonderful expression of both PS and Zin. — 7 years ago
