Outpost East Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon

Poured by Andrew Mariani as part of Wythe Hotel dinner with friends series. Matched with rabbit and the pairing was perfect.

Decanted but still needed time - really nice the second night. Fruit still totally present but a soft finish.

Big but balanced napa cab. Not too much alcohol, medium tannins, bright fruit. Very nice all around. The wine opens up later w darker cherry-like fruit

Meh. Nothing wrong but nothing exciting. Usual formula. Victim of the night's line up

Love the raspberry, lavender and rosemary on the nose. On the palette smothered coal strong lush tannins. Finished with graphite and a bing cherry...can't wait for the next sip.

Still very good!
