Stellar! This was a recent earthquake sale purchase being recommended by a friend. I feel like I should have paid triple for this quality. I love it! Rich, complex and earthy. You'll always want to drink this bottle last as it will win all the races. — 9 years ago
Today I am trying the 2012 Trefethen Chardonnay. After the earthquake they recently experienced and the damage they suffered I thought I would like to try their wines. I am pleasantly surprised and enjoying this Chardonnay. The aroma is wonderful full of pineapple, lemon, other citrus notes, butter cream and white flowers. On the palate I get nice lemon zest, peach, mild butter, good minerality, medium + acidity and a good long lingering finish. This is a well balanced Chardonnay and bought at $26.99. — 10 years ago

Wine for this morning's theory group. We were all in good spirits despite the earthquake that rocked the bay today. — 10 years ago
Nose of dark cherries and berries, with plum. On the palate plum and dark cherry combine with spice, earth and oak. Medium body with smooth velvety texture. Nice long chocolaty finish. Love this Pinot. On par with Miramars chicks run and earthquake block, my favorite. — 10 years ago
An earthquake survivor. Doing fine. — 9 years ago
The label was a wine-stained earthquake memory, but the wine was outstanding. A great winery. — 9 years ago
A flagship beauty from one of Napa's long-standing family wineries. Their historic old winery (originally built in 1886!) is a true Napa landmark. Badly damaged in the earthquake, our fingers are crossed and our glasses filled & raised for a speedy recovery. — 10 years ago
Hoping everyone in wine country is well after today's earthquake

If this wine were an earthquake, it would be 7.1 on the Richter Scale. — 10 years ago
This Michael David Cabernet Sauvignon is one step below the earthquake series. For this 2010 cab it needed to breathe a little before drinking. Once it opened up it was very tasty and full body. The bottle is less than $20 & is a good buy. — 11 years ago

First Napa bottle I bought immediately after the earthquake. Dark, deep and delicious! Black cherry, baking spices and anise. — 10 years ago
Drinking away my earthquake blues thanks to Pax Mahle and this delicious Sonoma Coast Pinot. — 10 years ago
funk on the nose, fun on the palate. first vintage was in barrels when the earthquake hit, made quite a mess, everything remaining was blended together to great success. can't find any information on this vintage, but it looks like they stuck with the just-mix-it-all-together program that nature forced on them the year before. all of the purchased fruit is organically grown and fair-trade. wonder if he knows louis-antoine luyt. — 11 years ago
