Decanted 60-90 min. Aromatics are in a great place right now. A punch of violet is followed by black pepper and a whiff of bell pepper. Tannins are well integrated on palate...more violets, dark berry fruit, rocks. An obvious and excellent pairing with both duck and venison. A baby 2015 Pinot from the Keefer Ranch. I really like this. It is less fruit intense than many CA pinots and its drinking nicely this young. I get some Syrah notes here. I opened it 2 hours before pairing it with duck. Thank you @Ehren Jordan — 8 years ago
