Good and very cherry but not as much as some other younger wines. Not sure if I like this more than the other higher end petite sirahs of theirs. — 6 years ago

”Super premier cru” Tête du Clos is sourced from an old vine parcel in the upper part of Morgeot. Kind of like Chapelot of MDT. Just like the bottle I had in September, it’s electric tonight with killer yellow fruit intensity, a stunningly elegant texture, stony minerality and ripping citrusy acids. There’s such tension and drive on the palate that takes the fruit and minerality all the way home. Love these wines. — 4 years ago
This was a hundo p for me! — 6 years ago
More complexity with age. One of those wines where you know from the first sniff that you are in for a treat. About a year and a half since my last btl, and very much in a sweet spot. On the nose: vanilla, soft honey, lime, wet stone, soft struck match...then the citrus closes in and you get dense lemon lime. On the palate: fantastic acidity, lemon, lemon oil, wet stone..great density...and a long finish. Just lovely. — 6 years ago

Dancer’s Perrieres vines are sandwiched in between the great Roulot and Lafon, and his 2013 Perrieres is a stunner. There is so much depth to this wine and it’s about so much more than just reduction. It’s detailed, complex and layered with yellow fruit and stony minerals with superb density and inner mouth tension. It’s powerful and intense but its weight is so lifted and the freshness of the vintage keeps it impeccably well balanced. There is a line of pulsating acidity and exhilarating energy on the palate that leads to an explosively long finale. — 5 years ago
Super delicious, mango / peachy, a little fizzy. — 6 years ago
Lovely and aging well. Very smooth and bright with cherry notes but not overly so. Earthly and interesting but still light. — 6 years ago

Top terroir vineyard estate. Very interesting. 25 Oaked. New and 2 year. 26.99 ws glazer. — 11 years ago
Good vintage despite the early oxidative tendencies of the whites. This one sure showed that, but it still had bright structure and that full Combettes texture. Solid wine. — 13 years ago
