Killer nose. What aromas! Raspberry, black cherry, dense, layered, thick coulis fruit but fresh and mineral, limestone, etc. Stunning. Lipstick like intensity. Palate is deep and structured and more closed than the wide open nose, but it’s all there. Balanced, juicy and so clean. Amazing, dense and thick fruit, pure, sappy, such vivid details. Ripe and substantial but very high quality tannins. No hard edges. So fresh, mineral and energetic. Long. Wonderful spices. Beautiful hit of opulence on the mid palate. This will last 20+ years. Epic. First year they have the VV on the label. — 6 years ago
Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 8 years ago
Wonderful minerality. Premier Cru. 13.5%. — 9 years ago
Delicious minerality and bright citrus. Don't chill it down to far, it really opens up at closer to room temp — 9 years ago
Very fresh and flavoursome chardonnay with a full bodied aftertaste that lingers. Very good with sea bass — 10 years ago
