Founded over 160 years ago, Delas Frères was acquired by Champagne Deutz in 1977. 100% Syrah from a blend of grapes 70% Cote Brune & 30% Cote Blonde, aged in French oak (30% new), aromas of red berry fruits and complex spice. On the palate raspberry and plum flavors, savory with herb pepper spice. Fine tannins, nice mouthfeel, lingering ending with fruit and mineral on ending. — 5 years ago

2009 vintage, disgorged June 2013. 100% Pinot Meunier. I'm starting to love the unique flavor profile of this grape. A beautiful streak of acidity right down the palate, with a hint of fruit that just rolls around on the mid palate, making it a fun bottle. — 7 years ago
