Had this 2008 in Lyon. I could drink this every night of my life. — 10 years ago
I was looking for a wine that would pair with Indian curries and took a gamble on this Alsacian white. It paid off. I think Guy Ritchie was describing this when he wrote, “You’re fat, and look as though you should be, but you’re not.” Smells sweet, comes from a bottle that looks like it will be, but is surprisingly dry. — 3 years ago

So young yet so refined — 6 years ago
1995 vintage out of magnum. Good acidity for the age. Red cherries, strawberries, mushrooms, slight soy sauce. Complex. Delicious. — 6 years ago
Outstanding old vine Chablis that is "village" level but drinks like a premier cru. Decant for one hour. A SommSelect choice. $27. Wow. — 7 years ago
Pretty epic dinner last night. Started off with oysters and this guy. I am not a champagne expert by any means, but this one was pretty unique to me. Went perfectly with the oysters. — 8 years ago

Tasted 28/04/2016
Vibrant, intriguing, eloquent nectar made of Heida (Savagnin Blanc), idiosyncratic to Valais.
Dense shimmering brass color, golden glitters.
Wet hay, mint, soaked apples, quince, sage, limestone, pinecone. Caramelized peach.
Fat-bodied, zesty palate. Lively acidity supported by tough mineral kick and kumquat peels, unripe cantaloupe, bruised quince, laurel, sage flavors.
Interminable finish...
Unique winexperience!

Pairings... I tried several ones.
First was 'C_Bro favorite': cute little bunny, trapped, skinned, disemboweled and baked in sourcream with allspice, garlic, onion, juniper, carrots and thyme.
Than - moderatetly spicy grilled reindeer sausages.
And finally mature + blue mold cheese plate.
All three played well. — 8 years ago
