The 2014 is excellent. Very true to Forey’s elegant and linear style. Red fruit aromas are very pure and high-toned with a bit of orange peel character on top. Lovely spice and smoky mineral character. Good cut on the entry, slightly thin mid palate but a lingering energy and subtle concentration on the finish. This is not going to grab your senses with weight or power, but delivers impact nonetheless. — 8 years ago
Still concentrated red at the core with beautiful garnet towards the rim. The nose shows classic aged Boudots and thrives on the palate with vibrant 1990 acidity. This is at maturity, should definitely enjoy now. — 8 years ago
Subtle yet sophisticated. Reminds me of a wine one would drink at a ten course dinner. — 9 years ago
Acidic and less mineral driven, not oaky at all — 9 years ago
From split opened half hour before consumption. Earth, red fruit, and a hint of funk. Smooth tannins; searing acidity. Probably could use another five years to achieve better balance. — 9 years ago
Gorgeous floral, fruity, and earthy nose, lovely silky texture — 10 years ago

Light and fruity. Nice pairing with fish. — 7 years ago
Hard not to recommend this one. Entry level burgundy that is performing way above it’s status . Excellent wine. — 7 years ago
We had the 2009 Vintage on 9/7-8/18. The strawberry fruit is subtle. There was cardomom, mushroom and a nice spice. Truly Burgundian. Medium bodied. No tannin; smooth and ready to drink. — 8 years ago

Real good!! — 9 years ago
Gorgeous light strawberry color. Beautiful red cherries, menthol, some spices, & rose petals. Quite fresh and very light. Complex. Succellent cherries, dry, with medium + acid, some rose petals, and spices. Light body with a gorgeous smooth finish. A great food wine. — 10 years ago
An incredible bargain. High concentration, salinity. Chablis goodness. — 11 years ago

Such an awesome big Pinot. Drinks more like a Cab. Yum! — 7 years ago
Nose of plums, forest floor with fresh fallen flower petals. Taste is of plums, black tea, Forest, raspberry, mushroom. I really like this. Opened up after an hour of pulling cork and really excellent after 2+. — 7 years ago
So delightfully balanced, sour fruit and med acidity — 8 years ago
Ripe, powerful, complex. Brilliant ruby-garnet. Haunting flavors, tremendous grip and persistence. Fruit-forward, black cherries and kirsch framed by limestone and earth and generously toasted oak. More defined flavors will emerge in a few years, but this is a complex and vibrant wine that will coat your palate aggressively with dense fruit. — 8 years ago
Lots of richness and structure... dark fruit, some dark spices, and a smooth finish — 9 years ago
Hey, it's burg. Classic. Maybe a bit out of balance and too spendy for its level but it's a good drink. Not one for the ages. — 9 years ago
Nose: classic barnyard red fruits very distinctive to Burgundy. Palate: spice confirmed red fruits slightly underripe, such a bright acidity. Good balance. Had it paired with herb rubbed pork roast and broccoli & cauliflower, Herb stuffing and cheddar mashed potatoes. Heaven — 10 years ago
Tres agréable, une belle longueur en bouche par dessous tout. — 11 years ago
Had the 2009 & 2005 with cod in a tomato, white bean, and garlic broth. Group wine dinner. — 11 years ago
Tar, cherry, raspberry. Not very well balanced. — 12 years ago

Just down the hill from Aux Boudots in NSG and just south of Chaumes in Vosne Romanée. Lovely bottle that went very well with Boeuf Bourguinon. Opened 2 hours ahead and slow O’d. Harmonious. — 6 years ago
