Fancier than I thought. — 4 months ago
Beautiful northern Rhône. Crazy aromatics. So pretty, dark sour cherries, pepper, some pleasant herbal greenness, a little stemmy. So many lovely layers. I need to put a 2022 away for probably 7-8 years to really hear it sing. — 5 months ago
Vin Gris Fe Cigar. Pink wine of the earth. Sweet but not overly sweet like Moscato. — 7 months ago
The QPR across the Daumas lineup has always astounded me, & this rose sparkling is no different: fine mouse & a clean, detailed palate, all fresh cut strawberries. Nice balance too between dry & fruitiness,& just enough heft to carry this past a toast into a first course. — 2 years ago

Possibly my all-time favorite wine. I teared up the first time I tasted it. — 4 months ago
Very nice. Dry but not overly. Lots of fruit, good oak structure. Cherries, . Nice for sale price of $16 — 6 months ago
Great as always. A seductive perfume of white lily and jasmine flowers waft from the glass, and there is exquisite balance on the palate, with a bit of Viognier/Chenin “gras” paired with wet rocks, a refreshing tartness and almost phenolic spice on the finish. — 2 years ago
Выпью один и даже пару бутылок подряд. Очень крутое, кока кола, клубнтка, вишня, клюква. Крутейшее вино. — 3 years ago
Ugh, this was the bomb. So deep and complex. Aromas of an array of shellfish and lemon. Ultra long finish, high tension, great acidity. — 3 months ago
Pretty delicious and balanced Syrah — 6 months ago
Always such a singular wine. It has the weight and richness of a white Rhône, with the acid and mineral tension of a great white burg. I like to say “Chaveneau.” It’s stunningly aromatic with layered depth and complexity, wafting from the glass with ripe tropical fruit, hazelnut, wildflower honey and pastry cream. The palate is rich and intense, but retains focus and balance along with killer volume, an elegant texture and excellent length. I continue to prefer GDP blanc to the rouge. — 9 months ago

acidic gamay with hella fruit flavors strong notes of cherry supported by some raspberry and a bit of tannins that paired well with a triple crème, alpine and berthaut epoisses cheeses — 2 months ago
