Beautiful biodynamic cab franc. Tried 3 of these chi ins wines all beautiful but this one was the one. Medium bodies, round mouthfeel, so,e essence of the soil and rock from the surrounding river banks and mountains. Very much enjoyed the 2012 and cellared 2 more to be assessed in next 3-5 years if we can hold onto it that long. — 8 years ago

Angevine surprise based on cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Original biodynamic wine, with a very reduced sulphur intake and benefiting from ageing in oak barrels. With a beautiful freshness typical of the Loire wines, it has a depth and an aromatic complexity that is all the better expressed as the wine has a few years of ageing. 2016 is a remarkable balance where cedar, musk, blackcurrant participate in a rich aromatic bouquet, alongside the notes of liquorice, or slightly canneled pepper. Somewhere between Loire and Bordelais.

Surprise Angevine à base de cabernet- Sauvignon et Cabernet Franc. Vin original, en biodynamie avec un apport en souffre très réduit et bénéficiant d’un élevage en fût de chêne. Doté d’une belle fraîcheur typique des vins de Loire, il n’en possède pas moins une profondeur et une complexité aromatique qui s’expriment d’autant mieux que le vin a quelques années de garde. 2016 est d’un équilibre remarquable où cèdre, musk, cassis participent d’un bouquet aromatique riche, aux côtés des notes de réglisse, ou poivre légèrement cannelé.
