Nice body and effervescence. Some brioche. Lower acidity. A bit golden. Like a tamed down Kurg. — 5 years ago

Beautiful biodynamic cab franc. Tried 3 of these chi ins wines all beautiful but this one was the one. Medium bodies, round mouthfeel, so,e essence of the soil and rock from the surrounding river banks and mountains. Very much enjoyed the 2012 and cellared 2 more to be assessed in next 3-5 years if we can hold onto it that long. — 8 years ago
Red cherry. More brick-like with old world vibes. More tart on the nose. Forest floor characteristics. — 4 years ago

Probably my all-time favourite white - perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, slight hint of mineral notes and lots of fruit (lychee, peaches, some pear). Lovely stuff! — 6 years ago
2010, gorgeous. Still singing with acidity, but fruit is all secondary with a lightly caramelized, almost autolytic character. Drink up! — 9 years ago
Angevine surprise based on cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Original biodynamic wine, with a very reduced sulphur intake and benefiting from ageing in oak barrels. With a beautiful freshness typical of the Loire wines, it has a depth and an aromatic complexity that is all the better expressed as the wine has a few years of ageing. 2016 is a remarkable balance where cedar, musk, blackcurrant participate in a rich aromatic bouquet, alongside the notes of liquorice, or slightly canneled pepper. Somewhere between Loire and Bordelais.
— 4 years ago
Great balance, already drinking well — 6 years ago
Wedding wine, revisited. In a magnum with the finest company and meat & cheese pairing. A blast to compare with the 2006 Evesham Le Puits Sec we opened with this. — 7 years ago
Really pleased with the feisty structure of this wine. Showing lots of cherry cola/Dr. Pepper on the nose and good earth. Bright and bold with black cherry and sturdy tannin on the palate. — 8 years ago
Lots of bramble fruit on the nose a little darker on the palate with nice acidity. — 9 years ago
