I’ve had this wine in my cellar since release. Cork was prestine and showed nicely. Probably held a few years to many. — 6 years ago
Lovely notes of bruised pear, chamomile, brioche, sour cream, golden delicious apple, baked lemon, and limestone. Off dry that adds some body but enough acidity to balance it. Delicious especially for the price. — 8 years ago
CVed 4/13/17. Mature red berries and clean nose with late hints of earth. Medium body and balanced palate of acids and fruits with good finish that's complex. Good Burg. Opened 11/29/17. Nice wine. Nose now has hints of funk with the earthiness. Good finish. Raising a point. Second bottle opened 1/10/18. Medium Ruby color and nose of dark mature berries with earthiness and funk and complexity. Good acid ad fruit ave minerals on palate ave long finish. Agree with 9.1, but upping to 9.2. Darn, bought only utero two bottles at $60 each, so no more. — 8 years ago

More nuanced than I was expecting for the price. Some lemon peel waxy ness along with wet minerals — 9 years ago
A fantastic champagne that we picked up during a visit to Reims last week. Great depth of flavor, an elegant palate comes across with flavors of dried apricots, hints of candied lemon, and that tell-tale bready yeast character that can only come from Champagne. A great start to a celebration of Vanessa’s promotion to Full Professor at Albion College! — 6 years ago
Docile but like a Chopin nocturne — 7 years ago
Classic Burg profile with forest leaves and hay and red fruits on nose. Good balance on palate and long finish. — 8 years ago
Reminded us of the Cotes de Nuit trip we took last year: immediate bite of tannins, but not followed by a high alcohol wallop. Very long finish with coq au vin @ La Piquette. — 9 years ago
3rd wine if the night last night: last but not least by any means. Ed Snyder is a freaking Rock Star in Napa. Shelling out Hit after Hit after Hit. This isn't Frederic Chopin....., it's AC/DC's Back in Black!!
Big., bold., unafraid and unapologetic! I love the Dark chocolate notes, dark fruit, spice & a touch of grafite. It's always a hit for me & Ed Snyder is an awesome guy to boot! — 9 years ago
