Vin de Constance Natural Sweet Muscat à Petits Grains 2015

Mer koncentrerad än 15. Något sötare mer mogen frukt. Aprikosen är omissbar. Kanske ett årgång för källaren mer än 14? — 6 years ago

Val de Mer Bougros Grand Cru Chablis Chardonnay 2013

Oh ‘13, why you gotta be so botrytis-y. (Yes, late rains, sadly). Under the gingery chamomile stuff, it’s solid Bougros. And not nearly as noble rotten as some. — 7 years ago

Domaine Léon Barral

Valinière Faugères Mourvedre Syrah

2006, men fick av oklara anledningar inte områdesklassas. Lite oxiderad doft. Dill, gräddfil, trä, mörk frukt. Mer balanserad i smaken med fattoner och integrerade chokladiga tanniner. — 7 years ago

Domaine du Possible

C'est pas la mer à boire Côtes du Roussillon Grenache Blend 2015

Fruit driven with seducing upper palate acidity and gulpy mouth watering tension. Natural and pure. Holds oxidation for around one hour - be aware. — 7 years ago

One of the poorest Margaux estate compare to the price not very elegant too oaky in order to mask the fact that they can never arrived to have density and fine tannins, really poor wine 😩

Akoibon Banyuls-Sur-Mer Grenache Noir 2018

Called southern Rhône off the bat. Not the cloying overblown kind but like perfect amount of serious and perfect amount of pleasure. Sense of place for sure 👌🏼 — 6 years ago

Val de Mer Non Dosé Brut White Blend

Aloha Champagne Fridays (this is the inaugural occasion). This is superb for around $20. The label lets your know this is dry all the way. 100% Chardonnay. Yellow apples and light caramel notes. Friends who take my reviews seriously (should proceed with caution) might prefer the Grüner Brut (Szigeti from Austria) from a little while back at this price point. But this is darn good. — 7 years ago

Silver Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay 2012

The Wagner family struck gold with this beautiful, buttery Chardonnay. Light acidity welcomed with an explosion of ripe papaya, toasted banana and lemon grass. Very interesting take on a delightful Chardonnay. Fresh, exotic, and rich. — 7 years ago

Val de Mer Vaillons Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2010

2010 Vintage. 12.5% Alcohol. Good acidity and flinty minerality. Best at cellar temp or slightly warmer. Good to go, don’t think this is going to improve much with further cellaring. — 6 years ago

Avennia

Gravura Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Nice blend (48 CS, 41 Mer, 11 CF). Opened it a little cold but it got much better as it warmed up. This wine has really mellowed out. The fruit still comes through and the pepper from the Cab has softened. This is a very nice wine. — 7 years ago

Catherine et Pierre Breton

Nuits d'Ivresse Bourgueil Cabernet Franc 2011

— 7 years ago
