Sexy fucking wine. Sexy is overused but I’d get in a hastily planned 3 month relationship with this wine that would end in bitter heartbreak. Gorgeous nose. Flowers, big cherries, lipstick vibe. Palate is ripe and opulent with lovely sucrosity and wonderful freshness. Silky tannins and great mouthfeel. Very 15 but also very alluring. Long finish. Wonderful mineral drive and very complex. On the nose, violet petals, beets, and a little tobacco. On the palate, mint, liquorice, anise, plum, and gorgeous dark fruits. Finish is pleasingly herbaceous, with moderate tannins and a mild refreshing acidity. Very little barrel detectable but still so rich and satisfying. — 3 years ago
