Medium bodied Cote du Rhine. Grenache and Syrah. Spicy dark fruits and pepper notes. — 7 years ago
One of the wines I had in 2008 that made me fall in love with wine was a Côte du Rhone by JL Chave "Mon Coeur". It's been a long time since I had a Rhone wine, I got this from Kermit Lynch shop in Berkeley, Cali. Nice notes of pepper and spice, gamy, good tannins from Syrah. Another good find from Kermit... Try this with steak that has fat, you will love this wine! — 8 years ago
This really is ground-breaking Pinot. It drinks exactly how it shouldn't, and it's fantastic. Young and bright like this is great, aroma mellows to bright cherry yet starts will hints if spice. Pallet is juicy and acidic, a wonderful wine to crush, but is intense in a very unexpected and pleasant way. The Bourgogne for the Rhone drinker. — 8 years ago

My current Trader Joe $6 favorite. Amazing for $6 and I don't care if I open it for just one glass — 10 years ago

A new fave! Delicious wine for a great price. Light funk on the nose, but bright mélange of apple and peach. Lafon négociant label. Great recommendation for chard haters. — 9 months ago

Savory, well rounded, and delicious. I’m not usually the biggest domestic Pinot fan but loved it. At Commerce Inn. 08/26/2023 🎉 — 9 months ago

Beautiful deep purple color. Plush aromas of sour cherries, plum and kirsch with just a whiff of alcohol pushing through. Juicy and vibrant on the palate with fresh acidity and fine tannins. Flavors of cherry and blackberries lead to vibrant, focused acidity. The finish is lead by notes of blueberry and kirsch followed by graphite and a floral note that lingers for 30 seconds or more. Delicious! — 7 years ago
Thank God it seems like lots of people do not get bachelet. I see this stuff lingering around the local stores. More spice characters than I could ask for in the category. I'm not even going to get specific. This is by far the best CdN year after year. — 8 years ago

We were shocked this was so good as a 16 year old cotes du Rhône. Drank with sushi dinner during the OU/iowa st game at dad’s house. Lots of dry dark berries, violets, long mouth coating finish. — 8 months ago
