2021 seems like a good year for the Split Rail vineyard.
This chardonnay is sharp, lean and racey. The 23% new French oak is super subtle - for me it only hints in the nose and in the finish. — 3 years ago
2022 Coast Grade Vineyard
A good year for Coast Grade grapes.
The nose makes my mouth water - a sense of crunchy mineral and freshly dried raspberries and the perfect balance of new:used French oak all lead to IMO a sophisticated youthful wine.
Acids are on the light side which lets those raspberry notes and sur lie texture run down the back of your tongue gracefully. A wonderful finish with a touch of... oak bark funkiness. — 2 years ago
Happy Easter to those celebrating!! 🌷🌷
We’re marking the occasion with some of our favorite bubbles – a 2014 vintage Paul Bara from the Grand Cru Village of Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims region of Champagne, France.🫶🏻
90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay. ABV 12.5%.

Still one of the best Pinots from the Santa Cruz Mountain AVA. — a year ago
So very crisp with that (now, to me) trademark salinity plus a tea bud rose element that dials it all in. So dang good! — 3 years ago

Harvest production at Hirsch and Cobb Wineries
Last bottle. Confirmed. Amazing. Only wish we used a tiny bit more whole cluster on this. — 5 months ago
