Stout. Sour. Coffee. Subtle. — 9 years ago
Re- review, picked a super fresh bottle, this is much better than I first had, nice tropical and citrus notes with a balance of malts, not the best in the style as far as red IPA's but pretty close, this brewery is not consistence with their beers, it is really hit or miss in the style, so pick this one fresh, check the date, I have not found many of their beers as fresh as this, really makes a big difference — 10 years ago

Watching The Dawn Wall with George, accompanied by spaghetti bolognese. A rich, smooth taste that beacons to a summer evening with the smell of flowers in the air. A Lovely wine. — 6 years ago

Birthday gift from Dawn & Mike! — 10 years ago
Expected purple-black without variance. Ripe plums and rich prunes dance the dance of dawn and dusk. Dried blackberry and red currant trace their steps. Clean waters flow and blueberry and elderberry emerge. Even bacon fat. This is plump Bordeaux. Graphite washes thinly, revealing black currant and lingonberry fleetingly before settling on dried lavender and dried mallow blossom and briny violet. True to the rue. Tart cherries peek through windows in the rain-slicked, cobbled alley. Cranberry skin. #Bordeaux #chateauFéretLambert #Grézillac #BordeauxRouge #FrenchWine #wine #redwine #bordeauxsupérieur #merlotblend — 5 years ago
Dawn & Brian’s. Abby’s Birthday. Smooth. — 6 years ago
Leather, earth, woods, raspberry, Blue berries, spices. Wonderful old medoc nose, progressively reaching its dawn though. Palate with a strong acid backbone, fully integrated and a bit dusty tannins, raspberry and cherry, mushrooms and chocolate. The finish is quite quick with a bitter chocolate taste. Still very alive — 8 years ago
Delicious from first sip! Exquisite Blue Hill at Stone Barns dinner with Tom Dawn Erin Joe. 1/28/2017 — 9 years ago
Always a pretty good, unexpected glass, ungraceful in the most shrewd way.
It did have those hints of fine lees that swinged from pear to dregs between one sniff and the other, but once in the mouth it opened up in a yellow-ish light, like a summer's dawn. — 9 years ago
