Earthquake Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Dark ruby color. Aromas of dark berries and plums, with additional hints of purple flowers and cocoa. Bold flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, black plum, dark chocolate, strong coffee and sweet spices. Long finish and full bodied. Light on the acidity and very silky tannins. Rich and concentrated. Thanking Weston and Beckki for opening this bottle. — 13 days ago

For Margaret L visit with NC barbecue. Deep forest floor and leaves and mushroom notes, spicy lively palate and long finish. Terrific. Better take care of remaining bottles. — 24 days ago

Saint Helena Petite Sirah 2014

So. Damn. Good. Could have gone another 15 years without breaking a sweat. Plums, cherries, milk chocolate and some leather notes that lets me know it is actually evolving and hasn’t just been in stasis from the moment it was bottled. Very impressive and wish I had another. — 23 days ago

Freakshow The Strongest Man on Earth Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon

Color of deep purple with lighter shades on the rim. Nice tears. Nose of ample fragrance of currants. minty, vanilla, oaky, sweet note, and some more dark fruits. Taste is mouthful and chewy, quite sweet mixed with some spice, acidity, tart, strawberry, and some more vanilla. Aftertaste shows more strawberry, tangy, and a bit marginal tannin. On par. Like all the Freakshow wine, a bit too sweet for me. — 2 months ago
