Nice easy drinking herbal spicy wine. Good backbone and satisfying finish. — 8 years ago

For a New Zealand merlot cab blend, it is a great wine. Nice bold fruit flavored, not too acidic or high in tannins. Easy drinking- pairs well nicely with a steak or dark chocolate!

A more tannic textural expression of #pinotnoir from #newzealand long finish. Very fine. Very elegant. — 5 years ago
Dark crimson in colour. Notes of cedar, cigar box, mulberry and blackberry but not too much of the latter. Tannins resolved. The wine is in a good place at 13 years and my last bottle. Great value at around $30. A good example of continental Cabernet from the Canberra district. Pretty much equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Clonakilla better known these days for its stellar Shiraz Viognier. — 8 years ago

Dark chocolate, super malty, mocha nose. Velvety smooth amazing chocolate taste. Combine that with hops and high alcohol it finishes with a cognac like bang. Simply Awesome. — 10 years ago
Vintage 2018 | Ooooph, this is an impressive wine: extremely expressive smell with spices and flint, well balanced taste with good concentration. The sommelier told that the wine comes from grapes harvested late from high vineyards. | Paired with langoustine and chanterelles | at restaurant Alma in Oisterwijk — 5 years ago
Stunning. A fascinating nose and smoothe, soft, complex finish. Their signature. — 7 years ago
My first Croatian?! Interesting to say the least, the biotryus/noble rot easily identifiable; petrol, beeswax, but without the viscosity.Kinda cool. — 8 years ago
One of the best merlots I’ve tried in my life. Having that in mind, price of about 14 € a bottle is very reasonable. — 8 years ago

Expected more of the 2012 National Wine Show Trophy winner for Shiraz although at $15 great QPR. Cool climate continental Shiraz from the developing Gundagai district- similar terroir to nearby Canberra district. Aromatic spicy nose - medium weight minerally palate with moderate length. Short term collaring. — 9 years ago
