Loved this wine. Got it for $9.99 at Total Wine and I’ll buy it again or even a case of it. Paired very well with spicy bbq pizza and dark chocolate. A soft wine, with notes of earth. No after taste — 5 years ago

Basketball wine. Dry crispy greatness. Cozy sweater coze wine. — 9 years ago
From a re-discovered ancient local grapes (tazzelenghe is the Friuli tipical slang meaning "tongue-cutter" due to its terrific tannins), this wine found its balance after aging 2 years in oak and several years in bottle. Red/black small fruits and sweet spices at the nose, powerful and fresh on the palate, with licorice and vanilla final flavours. — 10 years ago

Sweeter and Carbinated. It is actually much better than we expected. We would totally get again, just not try pairing it with Prime Rib. Lol. — 3 years ago
Smooth sweet wine — 4 years ago
Somewhat sweet, slightly sparkling. Low alcohol content, but so far one of my favs. — 5 years ago
Excellent. I always find myself liking what Talenti does. This was in a perfect place. Bit of decaying leaf on the nose but the palate was fresh and vibrant with deep fruit and excellent acid. Mouth filling and delicious. — 6 years ago

Fantastic bottle of wine from 2003. Perfectly aged. Violets on the nose with perfectly balance with a touch of astringency. Soft tannins and garnet colour. What a masterful wine. — 8 years ago
Six months ago my wife and I toured through Italy. On our trip we shipped home some wines that we loved. Adda, the young lady that helped us in Florence, gave us this bottle as a gift. It's certainly not the best wine we shipped home, but it meant the world to my wife and I. Medium bodied with tart red fruit. Light tannins and lingering acidity on the finish. More important is the memory this bottle brought of our vacation and the kindness of Adda. — 9 years ago

Fresh. Good red fruit. Excellent value. — 4 years ago
Very mango, a little fizzy - would be nice at the lake on the pier at 4:30. Wine cooler / sangria combo. Maybe an Olive Garden summer special served with a strawberry in the bottom! — 5 years ago
INCREDIBLE lightly sweet and fizzy only sweet red I have ever liked — 6 years ago

Presented double-blind. Deep ruby color with a slightly watery rim; medium viscosity. No signs of particles or gas. On the nose, dark fruits, plums, cassis, some bell pepper, dry leaf tobacco, earth and some baking spice indicating the use of some barrique, probably French oak. On the palate, creme de cassis, some gravely earth, and baking spices. Medium plus tannin, medium plus acid. This is a very elegant wine. Beautiful, long, gorgeous finish. Likely a Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend. The wine was balanced and leaning more towards its structure which took me to the Old World, most likely left bank Bordeaux. Given the characteristics, I was thinking Margaux specifically. So that was my call...likely with 20+ years of age since it seems the tannins were integrating quite nicely. Turns out I got the variety and the Old World part right 😅. What a wine! I didn’t know folks were making stuff like this in Sicilia. This could stump anyone without any prior experience. Killer QPR even at $50. — 3 years ago
