Super interesting white/orange blend. Nose is full of rose and other dried florals, orange blossom, jasmine tea and green unripe nectarine, with the fruit showing better on day 2. Due to 15 days of skin contact, palate is slightly tannic and as a result comes across strongly like a lemony black sun tea, with juicy acidity that lacks an edge. Round, somewhat drying finish. Tough pairing with an Asian salad day 1 and a veggie curry day 2 - this needs something like a simple fish preparation. β 8 years ago
A burst of blackberry and a slight licorice finish this is an amazing blend from Cliff Creek. β 9 years ago
Tasted it about 10 min after opening, much better with longer breathing time. β 10 years ago
4th wine of the night. Opened 6 hours prior and this vintage is in full stride. Simply beautiful and drinking very, very well. Definitely pick up in the dark fruit, mocha and espresso. Loved it!! May I have some more please!! β 10 years ago
Delicate yet dirty and funky in good ways. Grew on me the more I sipped. β 11 years ago

Just a great Sonoma Pinot. Always consistently good. Great fruit both on the nose and palate. β 12 years ago
Dark plum color. Uninteresting nose. Plum flavors. Sweet, but not cloying. Light balanced tannins and acidity. Full flavor without being heavy. Very easy to drink. I really like this wine. β 13 years ago
Super smooth cab, almost light on the mouth, not super tannic β 8 years ago
π @ Β£31 this Musar is top & Iβve reviewed a few times π personally i find it the best of many vintages Iβve had & not as funky as others π

Zona had this 10 years ago

Wifey spat her pacifier out for some reason, but I have assumed editorial liberties. In the glass, the wine is as black as me, but not as sexy π
The nose is dense and heavy with maple syrup and maraschino cherries. On the palette, it's velvety and compact, with layers of coffee, kirsch and finishes sweet. This is why I love Napa! β 11 years ago
Enjoyed this wine with a dry aged Delmonico cooked on the grill, served with Hoppin' John, and zucchini and tomatoes from our garden. The intense berry fruit in this Cab and its moderate acidity and mild tannins were a great match for this menu. β 12 years ago
