Cherry powerhouse. Impresive full nose. Milk chocolate, raisins, plum. Still some dry tanine. Sweet fruity with italian tang.

Sergio Zenato and his wife Carla began to produce quality wines from an indigenous varietal, Trebbiano di Lugana, and passed down through the generations. A blend of 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta and Croatina. Ruby with aromas of dried berry fruits with sweet smoky notes. On the palate flavors of ripe currants and sweet berries with cacao, spice and nutty tones. Fine tannins, lingering, complex finish ending slightly creamy.

Solid as always! Since 1999 this is my safe bet on Amarone wines. Great nose with big cherries and chocolate. Still fresh and young. Great PQR.

One of our favorite wineries drinking their basic amarone on our 4 yr anniversary. Delicious candies cherries/raspberry/smooth tannins with both vanilla then chocolate or is it chocolate then vanilla. Splash if leather with blackberry tart. Love it
