Super velvety, light to medium body but still very plump. Very long finish. Would drink! — 6 months ago

Fruity light red with a reasonable acidity, tastes like blackberries, very good chilled with a handful of berries on a muggy summer evening. — 4 months ago

Drank with Susan in Braga. Quite lovely. — 4 months ago
Touriga Nacional (40%), Touriga Franca (20%), Tinta Roriz (30%), Tinta Barroca (10%). Medium to deep purple. Medium body, medium tannin at most, medium acidity, dry. Some slight funk on the nose, in a very good way. Wet rocks, violets, light baking spices. Better after open for a day. Benchmark Duero for what I can find in the US so far. — 5 months ago
Just opened and poured and tasted, the bouquet was strong dark fruit with floral notes. Still a dark red with no visible signs of being 10 years old. Full mouth, delicious, really impressive again! — 6 months ago
Great taste, can feel the liquor, nice for a cold day — 7 months ago
A little caramel on the nose and the first part of taste was not much but opened up midpalate to finish with caramel and spices.
This was a half bottle that cost $13.79 back in the day. Had this with dessert at Le Virtú in Philly — 9 months ago
Dry cherry on the palate. Great on its own or with chocolate. January 2025. — 10 months ago

50th wedding anniversary! Tasting great. I’m shocked at the cherry fruit that is still vibrant, a lot of raisin, wood, caramel, vanilla, tobacco leaf. So surprised at how good this is tasting — 3 months ago
