Burnt brick red/brown on the eye. Medjool dates, dried cherries, cigar box, cedar on the nose. Palette sees more of that delicious cooked dates in butter, sweet caramelized vinegar, tart cherries, medium- acid, long, savory, buttery finish. Delightful port and love the age on this and also like that the alcohol is not overwhelming- it’s integrated into wine. Not dead yet and lots of vigor to be enjoyed!
