Young, fresh, delicious Corton Charlemagne. Perfect first bottle for one of our favorite venues….slightly oaky, nutty scent with soft apricot/peachy flavor….it went disappeared pretty quickly so can’t be bad! — 6 months ago
Medium body with delightful raspberry notes. Structure is a little off balance for me, with alcohol punching above its weight at least in the first glass. Very good value CdR. — 9 months ago
The 2020 Domaine de Chevalier is brilliant. Bright, poised and wonderfully pure, the 2020 Domaine de Chevalier marries the radiance of the year with tremendous freshness. Red cherry fruit, blood orange, mint, star anise and cinnamon all meld together. The 2020 is a wine built on aromatic presence and persistence, more so than heft, with all the elements very nicely balanced. What a wine! Tasted two times. Last day of CNY at Arthur’s house. Smoky, flinty nose. Smokiness hits hard on palate. Ripe lemons. Balanced and elegant. — 2 years ago

This is simply delightful, bloody awesome actually.
Typical Napa-purity and dito density, yet laced with Bdx-like treble-notes of freshness, acidity and transparency.
Served it alongside maigret/parsnip/anise-jus, but liked it better before and after this fantastic dish.
Score might be on the conservative side… — 5 months ago

2009 vintage. A blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, and 6% Petit Verdot. This estate has an impressive track record of high quality, even before it was bought by the Bernard family. Olivier Bernard managed to considerably expand the vineyards without compromising the quality of the wine, which is one my favourites. Unfortunately they use 100% Diam corks these days, which sadly stopped me from buying the wines. Anyway, this deeply coloured 2009 is a beauty that starts to shine with only 5 minutes in the glass. Impressive aromatics of black fruit, cedar wood, dark chocolate, vanilla, subtle spices and delicate floral hints. In the mouth it is extremely elegant and effortless, with everything in the right place. Exquisite balance with layered, perfectly ripe ( but not jammy) black fruit, embedded in a solid ripe tannic structure, and a very, very long finish. Everything falls into place, nothing is overdone, absolutely impressive, even if I believe it hasn't even reached its peak yet. This should age effortlessly for decades. Ab. 13,5%. — 7 months ago
Racy citrus and mineral. Pleasantly surprised — 3 years ago
Top ! — 4 years ago

An incredible delectable white blend of 67% Sauvignon Blanc, 22% Sémillon, and 11% Muscadelle by Lynch-Bages, a 5th Growth Chateau, that its wines quality exceeds far beyond its status of the 1855 class. Limited quantity available, and exceptionally balanced white, creamy on the nose thanks to its aging process as the Must was exposed up to 6 months in barrels on lees with 50% French oak that provides enough complexity to keep your sense stimulated. Bright character, lemon peel, dry and yet some decent crispiness, a bit of mandarin and cream pie on the back end of the palate. Vinified to drink it young and fresh! If you find it, get it without hesitation, you will love it. — 2 months ago
