Arlyn Vineyard Gamay Noir 2019

Summer yum …. Killer gamay noir from Pinot/chard experts. We all need more light bodied summer reds that dance across your palate at cellar temp. Low ABV… light purple, cherry, berry, juicy sweetness with lively acid driving the fruit towards the finish. The bottle was gone too quickly with smash burgers and hand cut fries. Reminder to self: buy more next year, — 4 years ago

La Belle Promenade Chardonnay 2017

Pale clear yellow. Nose of lemon pear with a nice crispness on the palate. Very burgundy like on the way down with a great combination of lemon, pear, melon and great mineral. Love this wine — 5 years ago

Alloro Vineyard

Riservata Pinot Noir 2013

Nice fruit with a slight earthy and a medium to full rounded finish. One of the newer wineries in Oregon. You need to check out their quaint little Italian style winery. You’ll love it. — 7 years ago

Inox Willamette Valley Unoaked Chardonnay 2021

Pale lemon in color with a green hue.

Nose of citrus, limes, red and green apples, light honey, melons, minerals and light white pepper.

Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with limes, light grapefruits, spices, herbs and minerals.

Tangy finish with black pepper and limes.

This is a very tasty Chardonnay from Williamette Valley. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

A nice happy hour wine that I paired with shrimp cocktail, by the beach.

100% Chardonnay grapes were aged on their lees for 2 months in stainless steel vats.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$20.

Ponzi Vineyards

Chehalem Mountains Arneis 2016

Amazing dry white that has limited production in the U.S. Thus varietal hails from the Piedmont region originally. Ponzi planted a plot back in 1990 and each year it produces this amazing wine. Peach, almonds. Some pear on the nose. Lovely aperitif or with appetizers. Small production so if you can find it...get it! — 7 years ago
