Picked this up from the St. Paul Greek Festival 2017. Nose of licorice and blackberries with flavors of blueberry, pepper, vanilla. A mellow, but highly enjoyable Syrah. My only regret was not getting a few more bottles!! — 8 years ago
Rich deep lemon hue, elegant, fine mousse and lovely floral aromas with baked apple and brioche on the palate . Robust style, long finish, excellent wine — 8 years ago

Just one of my favorite champagne. A bargain compared to some expensive bottles you can find out there. — 9 years ago
Easily best domestic GSM blend I've had, especially considering the price ($19.99 at Wine Thief in St. Paul). So balanced. Very difficult to find here in Msp/St. Paul. I believe last vintage I had was 2008 and it was as good as I remembered. — 10 years ago
So smooth, great nose! Cherry notes. Really love it - reasonable. — 11 years ago

Excellent Rioja offering, especially after some decanting to take the edge off. Concur with all previous postings. Earthy nose, great fruit and liberality on the pallet. $29.99 at Sorella's in St. Paul. — 10 years ago

2010 Erba Cabernet Sauvignon is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon,7.5% Merlot,3.5% Cab Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, crafted by Denis Malbec - bless his soul - also known for Blankiet, owned by Paul Erba, all sourced from their mountain side vineyards ranging from 1100-1500 ft, on the peak next to Atlas Peak. 2010-2012 was Denis Malbec, and 2012-present is now Russell Bevan.
Beautiful wine for the value, and a bit of a sleeper! 2010 is still tight and young, and will attest time - will age like the best of mountain style wines.
Aromas of black plum skins, gravel dust, mashed blueberries and lavender, pencil box, espresso, black pepper, and leather. The pallet is dark, clean, and focused like St. Julien, but more fruit forward, exhibiting notes of casis, delicious red apple skins, dried cherries, bell pepper, clove, nutmeg, olive, smoked herbs, vanilla, and a bit of grippy tannin to the finish. For $90, this stuff is excellent. Can't wait to try the 2012 made by Russell Bevan! Paul Erba told me that he will be producing a single vineyard wine from Paul Erba's property next year as well! Glad to have this in my cellar. — 7 years ago

A treat added to the lineup. 26 year old Trousseau, bitches. And it's youthful. Shows the awesomeness of this varietal. Time to get a Trousseau tattoo. #TrousseauFest2015 — 9 years ago
Beautiful St. Aubin - I'm glad this area isn't as well known as its neighbors. Some great gems from here. Strong chalky mineral bouquet followed by just the right oak. — 10 years ago
1999 vintage. Wonderful wine. Full bodied yet very smooth. Enjoyed it in St. Paul de Vance

1983 Camille Loye Arbois Chardonnay Cuvee St. Paul. I was surprised how fresh this wine was after 30 years. Lots of juicy stone fruit, but with hints of spice, golden raisins and dried porcini mushrooms. — 11 years ago
