Plum with a little pepper - great with charcuterie! — 9 years ago
First ever Charbono and still figuring out the best way to classify and remember it. A definite smooth finish but still medium to medium high tannins, which can easily be from a young wine. Flavors on the nose were not as complex as I expected but definitely complex on the palate - but of cherry, leather, smoke and dark berries. — 9 years ago
Delightfully bright and juicy — 10 years ago
First time I've had a charbono. I had good fruit and balance; good all by itself. Reminded me of another wine, but I couldn't place it. Have to get another to figure it out — 11 years ago
Great charbono, 13.9% alcohol with great balance. Somehow they kept the tannins in check, this went great with prime sirloin steaks on the grill. — 11 years ago
Full-bodied & fruity with cherries and blackberry; mild acidity that rounds out the power of the fruit — 9 years ago
