As always, mega solid. Def one of my fave expressions of Carmenere. — 10 years ago

Back in CA attacking the cellar...not remembering where I acquired this but really enjoyed! Haven’t followed this winery for awhile but probably should. I don’t think I have any more of this. — 6 years ago

Not worth its weight in gold nor wine. Over priced but I’d pay for the label all day everyday. Hahaha the French are annoying — 8 years ago

Drinking alongside the Sliver, the ‘21 Chalk Hill comes across as richer and more extracted, offering dense layers of blackcurrant, blackberry paste, dark chocolate, and roasted herbs. The palate is deep and mouth-coating, showing ample oak sweetness and firm tannins, but the concentration slightly outweighs its sense of balance. Power and ripeness dominate, giving a bold, muscular Bordeaux style expression. — 7 months ago
