3/10/17 Carpe Diem with my love — 8 years ago
Nose is dominated with cola and raspberries. Tannins are still prominent, giving it a rustic sense. The acidity is brisk. Finishes with somewhat tart cherries, and black olives, in a pleasant way. Shows purity and has echoes of a burg grand cru.
A big shout out and HNY to our new friends, and old, on DL. We trust that 2017 is going to be a smash hit for all. Carpe diem 🍾🎈 — 8 years ago
Nose: buttery, red fruit, earthy. We did a quick aeration. Lots of sediments. Feels warm. Balanced, but with higher tannins. Great as a stand alone. I could see this pair well with dessert. Some sort of fruit pie. — 9 years ago
Delicious. Creamy and spicy. — 10 years ago
Terrific wine. Bright and clean. Went great with Chef Eric Alexander's Tandoori Dayboat Scallops w/Green Tomato-Apple Chutney, Yogurt, Sprouted Red Lentils. Thanks Drew! - at Carpe Vino Auburn — 10 years ago

Steady stream of dainty beads, not as powerful as other Champagnes. A delicious kitchen sink of aromas & flavors - floral, citrus & toasty bread. Complex & beautiful! — 9 years ago
Rich plums, chocolate flavors. A grand dame of pinotage. — 10 years ago
Full bodies Cabernet without overpowering tanins. Tastes oaked, touch of cloves/vanilla , red fruits. Delicious! — 10 years ago
Dark cherry and raspberries, touch of pepper, little thyme. Smooth as silk. Opening up beautifully. Tastes like Oregon. I love this. — 10 years ago

California Chardonnay in burgundy style. Lack of oak is a nice change of pace and as a result the wine paired well with both mahi mahi and veal tenderloin. — 9 years ago
Lacks quality of the 2012 but still an amazing drop. — 10 years ago
Drunk too young, guilty again, must be the carpe diem...generous red acid fruit, tipicity, length and easy drinking, though the tannins are intense at this stage — 10 years ago
The 2004. Still coiled and youthful at age 11, it has a glorious future ahead of it. Lemon, salt and chalk, the structure is still pretty monumental and not quite fully integrated. But delicious and with huge potential. Thanks @Chris Cottrell - carpe diem is right! — 10 years ago
