A dry sparkling that tastes of honey. Had the 2017 vintage. Drank on the couch while it stormed outside upstate with Majken & Hattie. — 5 years ago

Drinking well now, this is a well composed wine that typifies Rioja. I first had this about six years ago, and really enjoyed it. This time round, it’s of course more mature, but perhaps falls somewhat short on the finish. The nose is absolutely knockout - it smells much more than the £15 that I paid for it - but on the palate it doesn’t quite live up to it. Still, a very pleasant drink. — 6 years ago
A pale, almost translucent yellow; much more rounder than I expected but phenomenal balance of acidity and fruit. Some interesting herbs with a touch of vanilla here; need to get some more! — 8 years ago
Unexpectedly Bordeaux-y. Went great with the reindeer liver paté and bramble berries. — 8 years ago
good and structured with intense mature red fruit to the nose — 9 years ago
One pointless point than last time. This is the greatest Syrah made in Italy. Hands down. — 9 years ago
