Pierre-Vincent Girardin is the 13th generation of his family to make wine in Burgundy. He grew up learning in the cellar of his father, Vincent Girardin, from a very young age. When the elder Girardin sold his domaine in 2011, he made sure to keep 4.5 hectares of his best sites to one day pass on to his son. Peu d’expérience avec l’Alsace, ce grand cru m’a plu mais je soupçonne qu’il peut prendre encore quelques années en cave pour se bonifier. Le 1er jour, forte odeurs de pétrole au nez et en bouche, un peu floral, fruit a chair blanche. C’etait correct sans plus, le jour 2, le petrole s’estompe, le vin prend un peu d’amplitude et est plus équilibré. Au 3e jour, tout se met en place, leger nez de pétrole qui n’est pas déplaisant, coté floral ressort, c’est pas mal mieux équilibré, j’ai quand meme aimé mon dernier verre. 89 pour le moment, il y a de la place pour 1ou 2 pt de plus — 5 years ago
