Lovely rich white, mostly Alvarinho, apparently originally made “in error” when grape juice was left on the skins longer than planned, creamy and medium-long finish, very nice! — 6 years ago

Fantastic color. Needs to breathe initially, then opens nicely. A good wine for the price — 9 years ago
The Darou Rueda Verdejo is part of the Castelo de Medina wine offering. It is a very fresh Verdejo, with a nose of almost Sauvignon, but with the rich Verdejo taste. Very nice! — 5 years ago
Clean, crisp & delicious. Excellent afternoon sipper. — 6 years ago
Dense and dark red 👁️
Cherry, pear and some petrol 👃
High acidity.
Lemon tartness at first with some dark red fruit with hints of cloves and nutmeg. After a bit the soft and pleasent wood dryness arrives.
Medium body and a Light dry 🎯
Paired well with tomato pie, Arabic salad with tahini and a variety of latkes.
A pleasant one with good vfm (65 nis as part of a half case of Portuguese variety)
That strong tartness would make it a very gastronomic wine. Would work with everything.
Last try of the different Portuguese varaiety. All were more then decent and dead cheap. — 6 years ago
More complex than the initial Portuguese wine we tried. Quite heavy but really interesting. Tasted great. — 8 years ago

Pinot Noir com certeza. Muito suave. No restaurante do castelo de Chambord. Maio 2018. — 7 years ago
If you see this bottle somewhere, please buy it. The year of 2012 in Portugal produced one of the best grapes. This particular wine was a lucky mistake that I found. Well balanced, earthy taste and smooth to drink. — 9 years ago

Perfectly smooth. Similar to the previous one but wow — 5 years ago
