Too young but insane potential...going to buy more. Love this wine and its depth and complexity. Paired well with venison. — 6 months ago
Still drinking, wonderfully after 12 years. A fine example of this variety from Italy. — 2 years ago

The type of wine I love drinking...especially with my wife. So many amazing memories attached to the flavours. 2016 Supertuscans are just amazing 😍 — 5 months ago
Considered the star of the CdA lineup, and similar to their chiantis which all have some Merlot blended in, but this was too much Merlot for me - had that plasticity I don’t love — 9 months ago

Go for it! You will not regret it. — 6 months ago
Ruby in color with aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, vanilla, and earthy hints. Decanting softens the smoky notes, revealing bright red fruit and a touch of licorice. The palate is dry and well-balanced, with smooth tannins, refreshing acidity, and a long, fruity finish. A versatile, well-structured wine that pairs easily with food.

Darkly floral, the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino opens with a blend of grilled herbs, exotic spices and steeped plums. It's a racy and fruit-forward effort with masses of ripe red and blue fruits swirling across a lively acidity stream. This tapers off with medium length and gently tannic, leaving a lovely resonance of inner rose. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)
