Melon, pear and grapefruit, with lemon zest and flinty notes. Wine has maintained acidity despite 10 years of aging. — 8 months ago
Wow. One of the most interesting Sangiovese that I have had. Nice under carbonic that brings out notes of rhubarb tart. Great with grilled vegetables in the summer. — 7 years ago
Whoa. Bursting with fruity smoothness.

Great flavor, spice, smooth — 6 months ago
Beautiful wine. Tasting outstanding. Dark purple fruits and berries, olive brine, dried flowers, cured meat. Its dry lingering finish of fruit and olive just lingers. This is great with 3 hours of air. So glad to have gotten this bottle. Rhone ranger!!! Probably has another 5+ years of evolution in it, maybe more. — 6 months ago
This 21 was better than expected. Was gifted to me and went perfectly with some casual carry out Chinese appetizers. Soft and spicy with gorgeous fruits not too tart and not flabby. — 9 months ago
Exquisite, really smooth, light and drinkable with just about any fish dish. Will for sure get again — 6 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2024 “Les Monts Damés” pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with white flowers, grapefruit, star fruit, alfalfa, and cream cheese stuffed poblano pepper. There’s also this Double Bubble thing going on. Wild stuff. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. In a world of increasing ambiguity, I love that this is immediately identifiable as Sancerre. Drink now through 2034+. — 6 months ago

Rich, thick, smooth, just yummy!!! A smoky essence that was surprising. Had it with grilled chicken and tomatillo salsa. Divine. would be awesome with a steak or lamb. 8/10/18 — 8 years ago
