Really good savory Champaign. Dry, but not too harsh. Leah liked. — 2 years ago
I really enjoyed this, even on Day 2. My husband said, "Too earthy," but maybe that's what I liked best. — 3 years ago
Excellent flavor, reasonable price. — 5 years ago
Aroma has a touch of diacetyl but it's light enough to be pleasant. Loads of currant and with a heavy cocoa, tobacco, and slate finishing note. Drinks surprisingly light for as dark and heavy as it smells. Very fruity with a lot of acid but a tannic finish that quenches the acid. Very nice wine. — 6 months ago
From the house where the brut Champagne was invented, the NV bottling is equal parts Chard/PN/PM from 40 crus, with about 30% reserve wine, and spends 36 months on lees.
Pear, green apple, lime, peach, and light crusty bread, the nose showcases more Chardonnay characters. Bright, youthful, yet delicate in the palate.
Lacking a bit complexity and intensity, but I like the roundness and balance here. — 2 years ago
