2002 vintage in January 2021. This is in a great place. Fully mature with big red fruit and balancing earth. Fruit is fully mature and developed some additional characteristics but still very hedonistic for a wine this age. At a peak/plateau with stuffing to keep going but why wait? Do it! — 3 years ago
Great wine. Will definitely buy again — 5 years ago
A savory juicy textured herbal food pairing champ. Like cooking sous-vide with an immersion circulator, what was once a geeky oddity has found a permanent home on our table. Not a universal solution, but really the right tool for the job in certain situations. Like pan seared halibut with fennel or spring vegetable risotto. — 6 years ago
2022 Vintage. What @Eddie Dukes said! Went great with spicy Thai food. — 5 months ago
Needs about 2 hours of air. Great nose of flint, baking spice, sweet cranberries, plums, white pepper. Palate is well balanced with similar flavors maybe more savory than baking spice. I get some fennel and more types of pepper. Good fruit throughout but more dark and tart. Impressed. — 6 months ago
Light ruby hue. Aromas of cherry, cream, grass, minerals, and smoke. Medium-light body, soft tannins, and plus acidity. Bright and balanced with a lasting finish. A little tight at first, but softens after opening a while with hints of vanilla on the palate. — 2 years ago

Light, vanilla and melon aroma, long and slightly acidic aftertaste. Pairs well with fish and goat cheese. — 7 months ago
A wine that could not be in a better spot right now. Decanted at opening. Plush, soft aromas of black berries and plus just a touch of spice. On the palate this wine is juicy and soft, with velvety tannins and gorgeous acidity. Flavors of black plums and raspberries fill the glass around with wonderful spice box notes and just a kiss of oak. The finish seems to last forever with lingering spice and fruit notes. A truly wonderful wine. — 6 years ago

Pours like deep yellow extra virgin olive oil, smells like teriyaki glazed grilled pineapple and lemon sesame pound cake, butterscotch crystals, and coconut shavings.
Thick vein of acid keeps this freshy fresh (not at all sloppy).
Great QPR, and something different. — 5 months ago
