This is well done new world Syrah. Deep purple, almost black It is warm & high in alco and fruity (black fruit, black cherries but also it has some earthy suede blackberries notes (like old world wines) - not boring and flabby (although acidity is just medium (-), for sure it went under MLF, tannins are soft and silky. Full bodied wine which should last for some years from now - but it’s definitely ready to drink now. Cheers — 8 years ago

Несладкая бледная курага, подбродивший ананас, айва, цедра лимона, тонкий след личи, свежие опилки, миндаль, шалфей, полынь, солёная морская вода в послевкусии. Полное, маслянистое тело; хорошая, чуть уступающая объёму кислотность. Чистая и глубокая фруктовость плотно уложена в тонкую корзиночку из песочного теста. Использована только сталь, но мне почему-то мерещится призрак бочки. Ещё молодо, амбициозно, старательно, довольно интересно и с чувством места.

Every year I look forward to our little allocation of these beauties from Jerez. The wine has such a giving nose of flor and white fruit that it seems almost like it would be sweet. In the mouth this is all chalky cut, certainly one of the driest wines on the planet that can still provide so much pleasure. It was fatally easy to drink with tuna stuffed peppers! — 9 years ago
