Wow! Pinot gris/blanc and aligote Vinicius like a great CA Chardonnay, coming out in the best possible way. Took some time to open up but when it did it was outstanding. Still-fresh ripe pear, a hint of minerality, some cheese rind, the oxidative butterscotch and lemon curd are hidden under layers of freshness and acidity and there’s no hazelnut then you’d get in a chardonnay. What a wine! I’d hate to get it blind but it reminds of the fine examples of aged whites from Terlan, Vorberg in particular — 2 years ago
Like the Pinot Grigio, with character. More depth and minerality. — 3 years ago

Alto Adige on full display with tart bitterness of pitted fruits and slate. Lush tropical notes and a hint of vanilla (the Chard?) round out the frame. Not much of a finish to speak of. Crisp enough for seafood, but with a ripeness that will pair well with a host of cheeses or your favorite South Asian hot sauce. QPR heaven too! — 7 years ago

Pale lemon with green highlights. Fresh herbal aromas - honey, straw, and pear. Bone dry, medium+ acidity with honey, hay and green apple flavors. Crisp, light and refreshing with a nice stony character. — 6 years ago
Toasty, pretty, dry straw. — 8 years ago

Light golden color. Lychee jumps out of glass on both the nose and palate. Additional hints of tropical fruits, peach, beeswax and delicate white flowers. Touch of mineral and dried herbs on the finish. Lively acidity and wonderfully fresh and clean. Not overly spicy and well balanced. Thank you for sharing this lovely wine, Kase. — 6 months ago
