A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 23 months in French oak, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark ripe fruit with sweet herbs, floral and complex spices. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry and currants, cinnamon spice, sweet oak and cacao. Well integrated with fine soft tannins, the wine is complex yet enjoyable and will continue to age. Long finish ending with savory oak and slight earthy spice. Nice! — 4 years ago

Jasmine, pineapple on the nose. Smooth and light on the palate with clean aftertaste. Although this is not a genshu, it's 17% abv which suggests it does not get watered down as much as most sake at this price. Sometimes overlooked because of its bigger brothers the 23 and 39, it's an excellent sake on its own and amazing at its price. — 9 years ago

Like a thief in the night, it slips down with a light, innocent sweetness...but then instantly explodes in a firework of aged berry liqueurs with a raw almond almost carbonated champagne finish. Superb. Great label as well. — 8 years ago

A blend of 75% Semillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc, & 2% Muscadelle. Golden with complex aromas, somewhat Riesling like, and adding a tropical bouquet. On the palate this botrytis rich wine shows apple, pineapple and honeysuckle flavors. Lingering finish ending with smoky vanilla notes. Had this at tasting and bought a few bottles!
